Setup

Required​

  • The OEE Resource requires a database connection to save OEE and production values to. For information on configuring the database, see Database Setup.

  • The OEE Resource relies on a UDT instance configured for each line. For complete setup information, see Tag Configuration.

  • Each line needs to have a Target Rate to calculate the OEE values against. For rate setup information, see Target Rate.

Optional​

  • Each Line UDT can have up to three shifts configured (all disabled by default). For more information and setup instructions, see Shift Setup.

  • All labels within the OEE project are in English. However, it is possible to change the locale of the session by modifying the session.props.locale property. This can be written to using a script when the session first opens, or a component can be bound to it so that a current user can update their language selection as needed. Instructions on how to change the language for component text can be found in the Ignition User Manual Localization and Languages section.
